PRS and ELR shooters:
Have our last shoot on base this coming weekend (4-5 nov) on cfb gagetown on firing point 4. Targets out to 2500m.
Prs and elr shoots along with a bunch of fun!
The weekend is a go, looking forward to our last long range event of the season. The weather looks ok, will likely be chilly on the range, bring lots of warm clothes. There will be no bbq this time, make sure you bring some snacks and water.
The main gate to base is currently closed due to construction, you’ll need to take an alternate route to Range Control. I’m including a picture, if anyone needs more info let me know.
Cost for the event is $20 for one day, $30 for both days. There is a $10 guest fee for non DCRA members.
Schedule will be very similar to our other events. I’ll be at Range Control for 8am Saturday morning if anyone needs a guide to the range. We’ll setup some targets Saturday am, and go live when setup is complete. Sunday we’ll run a prs match for anyone interested, or the elr lanes will be open if you’d rather plink out to 2500m. Timings for Sunday, range gate is open 0800, shooters brief 0830, match begins at 0900. Nicks pushing for 8 stage’s Sunday, so the prs shooters will need to stay focused and keep moving.
Any questions, please ask, I usually forget to mention something.
Ill be running the ELR portion but the main thing is this is to have fun and bring more shooters abd interested people into the sport! Prs guys will be there as the elr guys!
