I am excited to share my latest blog with all of you - The Marg & Meg Story = The OSTEOSOUND Difference.

Two years ago, I made a very difficult decision to sell my clinic so I would have more time to pursue new things.

Although I truly didn't have an understanding of what the next chapter would look like, I felt a strong pull to do more and bring my years of clinical, advocacy and entrepreneurial skills to help create legacy change in our healthcare system.

For 30 years, Wallis for Wellness was all I knew. It was the "baby" that I birthed and grew over the course of 3 decades.

When I opened the doors to the clinic, preventative and integrative health was NOT popular or trendy. In fact, my vision of breaking down the silos in healthcare to encourage practitioners to work together and focus more on prevention instead of sick care was met with a great deal of opposition.

It was this resistance that fuelled me to continue to grow my clinic, network and skills so that I would be ready to take on a bigger role one day in this preventative health movement.

Well, the time is now here!

The last two years have been a wild ride.

I have accomplished one of my big dreams which was to launch and lead a preventative health movement that would get the recognition from Health Canada.

However, what I didn't know when I took that leap of faith in 2022, was that I would have the opportunity to reconnect with an amazing friend, Megan Buhrmester would introduce me to an innovative game changing technology that would result in a powerful collaboration that is now truly changing lives!

We are honoured to introduce the game-changing Echolight REMS Bone Scan technology to Canadians and emphasize why this new Health Canada approved technology (Class II medical device) is a game changer in the arena of osteoporosis prevention and management.

REMS stands for Radiofrequency Echographic Multi Spectrometry (REMS).

The novel Fragility Score (FS) parameter, obtained during a REMS scan of lumbar or femoral regions, has been developed for the non-ionizing estimation of skeletal fragility.
According to this research, Fragility Score displayed a superior performance in fracture prediction, representing a valuable diagnostic tool to accurately detect a short-term fracture risk.
