I won't be able to offer fall or Christmas sessions this year but my friend Kay has some sweet sets and you should check her out and grab a session.

Wedding season was short this summer, with one special day to capture. Their big wedding plans are moved to next year for a big celebration with friends and family, but they still kept their date and had a special backyard ceremony at the brides parents house. I had a lovely couple hours with them and captured the love of the day.

I've enjoyed capturing this family and their milestones for years now. We always do a first birthday cake smash for the kids. The little lady dosen't always enjoy pictures with cake. Her session had her big brother stealing her icing, this recent session included her little brother getting icing on her leg. I love shots like this as keepsakes to laugh about together for years to come.

I am very much missing wedding season this year and looking back at previous years and last years weddings makes me so excited for next season now.

Peggy's Cove is always such a great location for pictures, sometimes the wind can be strong, as you will see when you swipe past these shots when the bride's dress blew over top of her, we certainly had no shortage of laughs or pictures. This is a set from by the water, we took so many incredible shots that afternoon that I am sure I will share more.

I was in New Brunswick working when we were hit with a big snow day. I was staying at my parents house and told my brother to stop by quick, toss some warm sweaters in so we could take a few quick shots in the snow. It took about 5 minutes to capture a great set of images for them. My youngest nephew wanted nothing to do with tossing snow around, as you will see with him standing with arms crossed now wanting to cover his dad in snow. He also didn't get the whole blow the snow towards me, but it was still super cute.

I will be offering winter session in the snow this winter as well as some great pictures on the lake I live in once it all freezes up. I've got some fun sessions planned all winter ling this year

It's that time of the year again and I always look forward to spending some time with Santa for a few weekends while some excited kids visit him for a yearly picture at the always awesome Winter Wonderland done by GLOW for some work christmas parties.

School picture day for a group of great kids and staff today. I always enjoy sending home some great portraits of kids that aren't your typical green screen school picture for families to enjoy. Real portraits, for real kids with great smiles.

Wedding show day !!!

Year 9 of school pictures with this amazing school complete, its been so much fun watching these kids grow up, move on to big school and then watch their siblings grow after.

It's pretty great when its part of the job to go for walks in parks and trails for location scouting.

This week finds me in Fredericton, NB to capture some great school pictures for 2 Montessori schools in town. I met lots of great kids with great smiles this morning and look forward to another Montessori school tomorrow.

It's hard to believe its been 2 weeks since hanging out here in the Rockies with these 2 lovebirds.

PEI has always been a place I adore to spend time in the summer, so when I have clients getting married there I am thrilled to be invited to capture their day. I had a blast with this couple and their bridal party from start to finish. The weather wasn't looking good for us but it stayed clear for the day and gave us some rough muddy water. @ Prince Edward Island

Mountain, mountain and more mountains. My first wedding in the rockies was a blast and I sure hope to do another one in the future. The weather could not have been better. Back to the city today to enjoy Calgary for a few days before back to Nova Scotia. @ Eagle Ranch Resort

This wedding day was non stop action all day from noon till midnight and taking a break from the party downstairs to get outside to cool down a little and have some alone time with the bride and groom was a treat. There will be so many great moments captured from this day to share with this happy couple.

Another brilliant wedding today at Hatfield Farms for the second wedding this weekend. I had a fun group with laughs all day till the end. I can't wait to share the images, the results of the bull riding will be sure to bring on lots of laughs. I always enjoy spending my weekend shooting weddings and meeting so many great people, go to a rocking party, visit with vendor friends, enjoy a yummy meal and laugh most of the day and also witness such a special moment for the couple and their families.

Yesterday was a great time shooting a wedding with my friend Mike second shooting for me. We had a fun day at Shining Waters for the day with a fun group. Today I am headed to shoot a wedding with what is sure to be another fun day at Hatfield Farms. Packing and getting ready to get started now.

I'm not sure if I have felt as hot and sweaty at any other wedding before, the church was so hot, but yesterday was so much fun Capturing Sadie and Michael's big wedding day. They were surrounded, especially on the dance floor, by so many family and friends celebrating with them at the Amazing Westin Hotel in Halifax. I had a blast having Dustin Hall join me as a second for the day as well as my guy Dave for another set of hands to give me free hands to be ready for anything. @ The Westin Nova Scotian

We had a great weekend soent in PEI to capture a wedding. A forecast of a full day of rain changed to a great day of sun and we had no shortage of good times all day. @ Cape Traverse, Prince Edward Island

What a great day shooting a wedding in Halifax today, I was joined by my friend Kay as my sidekick for the day. It was windy and chilly, but no rain. Congrats Kyle and Celine, thanks for having me capture your day.

It's been a very long time since my own kids have let me capture any pics of them, a night of new hair colour got me the go ahead for a few new shots of them. They are getting so big and I'm glad I was able to grab a few updates. @ Partridge Photography

It's graduation picture day for these little ones getting ready for big school this fall.

After a full day of rain on this wedding day this past Saturday the air had some mist left in the evening and I was able to capture that with this great couple. @ White Point Beach Resort

White Point Resort day for a beautiful wedding even with a day of rain. My friend Heather joined me to help with some extra hands. Always a treat to be at this amazing location of Nova Scotia.

After a 10 hour sleep I am waking up thinking about the 24 hour workday from yesterday and the one day adventure to Disney with Dreams Take Flight and a group of 140 wonderful kids and an amazing group of volunteer chaperones. My heart is burting at the memeories I have made and watching how a group of people came together to offer these kids such a fun day and I won't be forgetting how many of these kids touched my day. I enjoyed having my hand grabbed and lead off to some rides and visiting princess's, experiencing that throught their eyes and capturing it in pictures for them to remember. Working with a photo team of some friends made the day just as incredible. @ Disney's Magic Kingdom

Last sunday I hung out at Peggy's Cove with this great couple and got to know each other while shooting an engagement session and chatting out their upcoming wedding this fall. We had some good waves while the tide was on it's way out. They weren't that close to the waves and didn't even feel a splash from then to give you an idea of their size. @ Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia
