As we reach the end of our 2022 season and begin looking ahead to 2023, we’re putting a call out for new Community Harvest Leaders to join our network 🍅

FOUND currently has groups operating in the HRM, the Annapolis Valley, and Bridgewater areas, but we’re always looking to expand!

If you are enthusiastic about our mission and want to lead harvests in your area, consider becoming a Community Harvest Leader, or connecting with a Community Harvest Hub in your area. Let’s get this movement province-wide!

FOUND is still seeking gleaning opportunities for the fall!

If you or someone you know have produce available that you cannot sell - whether it be leftover after a harvest, crops damaged in the wake of Hurricane Fiona, or simply produce with imperfections - let’s connect! FOUND volunteers will harvest that produce for free and then donate it to a local organization in need.

Contributing farmers are also eligible to receive a tax credit for the donated goods! Get in touch at [email protected] or using the link in our bio.

After a couple years of reduced operations due to COVID, we are ramping back up - and looking for volunteers!

We are looking for 5 volunteer gleaners for tomorrow (Saturday July 3rd) from 12pm to 2pm in Centre Burlington, NS. Please email [email protected] to RSVP and get more details.

Gleaners Welcome: We have some left over spinach plants that still have lots of spinach. See details in the two videos in the comments. (Please follow all current rules to keep everyone safe!
