“I came to Canada from Cuba in 2017 to study at the Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS). I joined IT in 2018 as a hydrographic surveyor and have been with them ever since. At IT, I found support during my immigration process, and a team of co-workers who have helped me overcome language barriers while encouraging me to improve my technical skills”

The sea can be unforgiving, and the subsea environment sometimes even more so.

In a two-ship effort, IT Intrepid and IT Infinity recently worked together to retrieve IT’s cable jetting ROV that had decoupled during PLIB operations offshore Colombia.

Well done to crew members from both ships who successfully coordinated this extraordinary recovery operation at a water depth of over 1,000m!

We are happy to report ROVJET is back in action 😎

IT remain extraordinarily flexible in a challenging marketplace, with the in-house expertise to install and maintain subsea optical cables qualified by the UJ/UQJ consortium, Tykoflex and many other manufacturer-proprietary jointing technologies. Here, IT are installing wet plant supplied by ASN.
