“Maxim Cormier’s Patouche Collective” est une exploration musicale des liens entre la culture acadienne et la musique celtic. Le groupe est formé de Maxim et Gervais Cormier aux guitares, Brad Reid et Jacques Blinn aux violons, Guyaume Boulianne à la mandoline et Danny Parker à la basse. Ce mardi 15 août à Halifax!
Maxim Cormier’s Patouche Collective is a musical exploration of the undeniable links between Acadian culture and traditional Celtic music. The group will feature Maxim and Gervais Cormier on guitars, Brad Reid and Jacques Blinn on fiddles, Guyaume Boulianne on mandolin and Danny Parker on bass! Tuesday august 15th in Halifax!

Fondé en 2017 par artiste acadien renommé, Maxim Cormier, Le Festival Quinzou, présenté par Acadian Seaplants LTD, est une célébration de la Fête Nationale de l’Acadie dans le centre-ville d’Halifax. Le Festival Quinzou est fière de pouvoir offrir une expérience qui permet aux acadiens de pouvoir fêtez non seulement dans les petites communautés acadiennes mais aussi à Halifax. Pour les non-acadiens, le Festival Quinzou, c’est l’occasion de nous rencontrer et de fêter avec nous. Venez célébrer La Fête Nationale de l’Acadie au Festival Quinzou.
Founded in 2017 by renowned acadian artist Maxim Cormier, Festival Quinzou, presented by Acadian Seaplants LTD, is a celebration of National Acadian Day in downtown Halifax. Festival Quinzou allows acadians to celebrate not only in small acadian communities but also in the city of Halifax. For non-acadians, Festival Quinzou is an opportunity to come meet and celebrate with us. The term “Quinzou” is a slang spelling of “Quinze Août”, which translates to “August 15th” in french. August 15th in Canada is “National Acadian Day”.
