Shellshock had to be the best run meet we have ever attended. .ellisse performed like a champion with the iron mindset she always brings and to top it off the atmosphere was exceptional as well! We are so proud we were a part of this meet and even more proud of Ellisse for showing all the hard work she has poured into preparing. She definitely left it all on the platform!

Between 2-4 weeks of regular exercise, is generally when you can start to see measurable improvements in your strength and fitness.
Why is it so important for rest days?
Because your body needs time to recharge and exercise creates microscopic tears in your muscle tissue. But during rest, cells called fibroblasts repair it. This helps the tissue heal and grow, resulting in stronger muscles.
Have you been upping your weights or are you still doing the same?
Contractions and extensions with proper form are key elements in reaching your goals. If you aren't working out smarter, then it can take longer to get where you want to be.
When you've made up your mind on what it is that you want, nothing can stop you.
Take time to reflect on how far you've come. It isn't just about the destination but the process too.
