Here’s a quick breakdown of some common terms we use to help you navigate all things SUO, like our upcoming By-Election!
Ready to make a difference at UBCO? SUO By-Elections are coming up!
What is a By-Election? A formal way of voting for students to hold elected positions within the SUO. It happens in October if a board position is vacant. Sometimes a referendum may be voted on as well.
Nominations open on September 16th and close on September 27th. This is your chance to step up, represent your peers, and make your voice heard! 🗣️
Tag someone who’d make an amazing student leader or learn more about how you can get involved! 💡

EXPO is one of the biggest events of the semester, and we need your help to make it happen!

Get ready to showcase your design skills in the SUO T-Shirt Design Contest!
Your mission: create an amazing T-shirt design that includes "SUO UBC" and represents the spirit of our community. The winning design will be printed on official SUO T-shirts, and the winner will receive a $50 gift card.

1.The contest is open to all current UBC Okanagan students.
2. The design must include the text "SUO UBC" or likenesses (ie: 'Students' Union Okanagan')

4. The design should be suitable for printing on a T-shirt and should not exceed 2 colours.
5. The deadline for submissions is August 9th 2024
