We’re super excited to have him joining us at Top Notch. Skylar being one of the ( If not THE ) Top Muay Thai fighters in the Okanagan. He has 10 bouts under his belt, fought and training in Thailand, active fighter here in Kelowna and now looking to grow his knowledge in the game and also teach his skills to the community.

Skylar has his own time slots with us and that’s Tuesday and Thursday at 6PM
Also he’s open to teaching privates for a low fee right now that’s $40hr !

Top Notch Muay Thai

There isn’t any other place on the Planet that makes me more excited to see.

As a Kid training in Karate I always wanted to go to Japan and learn Karate there, it never really worked out that way as a Kid but I stayed true to the Arts and trained throughout being a kid, into high school and then after high school finding Muay Thai.
Muay Thai has shown me so many really amazing lessons throughout these past 19 years.

One thing that has always stuck with me throughout these years is putting on a backpack and traveling across the World to go train Martial Arts.
The countdown is on to finally head over to Thailand and learn from some of the best in the World at an Art I really truly am in love with.

I couldn’t imagine my life without Muay Thai in it, it’s beautiful violence, the smell of the Thai oils, the music, the movements and devastating power shots, the heart it takes to train hard every day and after weeks of grinding you get into a ring and fight someone who just did the same thing putting there Heart and their entire training.

Nothing in this Planet will give you the feeling you get walking out to the ring, nothing.

I love this Sport and I really can’t wait to head over there and really live that Globe traveling Martial Artist lifestyle.
I’ve done it out West my entire life, now it’s time to head over and train with some Legends I’ve looked up to for a long time 🙏🏼

My focus is to grow as a Martial Artist and bring back what I’ve learnt to Top Notch Muay Thai 🏆

Were bringing Low Kick Championships to Canada and starting it off in Kelowna, BC

I’m currently searching for folks to add to the card.
I’m thinking November we will put the event on at Top Notch Muay Thai

This is the trial run for the promotion here in Canada. If it does well, we will have another event in 2025 and that time for the Low Kick Championship Canadian Belt.

Winner from that gets a chance to go to Spain for the World Championships 🙏🏼

Stoked for Sunday at 8AM
Got my first race 8KM race, last bit of training and running the next couple days, pretty excited to get out there and crush it with a bunch of folks 🔥

Hope everyone had a great weekend and now we are starting by the week off going into a heat wave !
Stay safe out there folks and drink that water 🌊

We got the AC going strong so if you’re out in the heat all day, just know it will be nice and cool in the gym for everyone.
Sometimes it’s super tough being in the heat all day and then head to the gym and it’s even hotter in there 🥵
We want everyone to be comfortable and not ever heat for days like today.

Sometimes you go out and get the Win, sometimes you go out and the judges see it the other way. ( One judge seen it Jack’s way though ) Lost a close split decision. Just the way she goes sometimes.
But one this is for sure, Jack Lawson is always going to show up and give you a hell of a fight.
Jacks never out of a fight.

Happy you got to go out and showcase your skills brother.
Doesn’t matter if it’s a win or a loss, I’m always happy for you and enjoy watching you do your thing !

Back to the drawing board and the next one you’ll be even better from the lessons learnt from this one.
