A day to remind each other that every life matters. 🌍💚
We all have a role in creating a world where nobody feels alone in their darkest moments. If someone you know seems withdrawn, hopeless, or disconnected, reach out to them. Sometimes the smallest gesture can make the biggest difference.
Know the signs. Offer support. Seek help.
Let’s work together to break the stigma around mental health and ensure that everyone knows there is help available. You are never alone.
If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out. Connect with one of our counsellors or text/call 988 for immediate support.

Together, we can prevent su***de and save lives. 💛
As you move through this week, keep these gentle reminders close to your heart. You have the right to take up space, say no when needed, and embrace your unique journey. Trust in your resilience, and know that you’re exactly where you need to be. 🌟
Today is a day to celebrate the power of words to shape our world. 🌍
Reading opens doors to new ideas, cultures, and opportunities. Whether it’s a gripping novel, an inspiring self-help book, or even your favorite childhood story, every page turns toward growth. ✨
We’d love to know....what book are you reading today?
Share in the comments! Let’s inspire each other to keep learning and growing. 📖
Are you aware of the signs that someone may
be struggling with thoughts of su***de?
By recognizing the signs, we can take action and help
save lives.
Here are 5 signs someone may be feeling suicidal:
💚Talking about feeling hopeless or trapped
Expressions like “I can’t see a way out” or “There’s no
hope left” can be serious indicators of distress.
💚Withdrawing from loved ones
Sudden isolation from friends, family, or activities that
once brought joy can be a red flag.
💚Giving away possessions
Giving away valued belongings or making
arrangements as though preparing for absence can be
a sign of a plan.
💚Sudden mood shifts
Rapid shifts from despair to calm, especially after a
period of depression, can be a dangerous sign.
💚Increased substance use or reckless behavior
Turning to drugs, alcohol, or engaging in risky behavior
may indicate someone is struggling deeply.
You don’t have to face this alone. If you or someone
you know is experiencing any of these signs, reaching
out for help is a sign of strength. You matter, and
support is available. 🌟
Connect with one of our licensed counselors, or reach out to a support line like
988. Your mental health matters, and we’re here to
help.

August 30th is Grief Awareness Day.
Grief is a universal experience, touching our lives in many forms. From childhood onward, we encounter loss - whether it’s the passing of a loved one, the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, or even the fading of a part of our identity. Grief can arise from anything that leaves a void in our lives.
Despite its prevalence, grief can feel overwhelming, especially when we believe we must face it alone. The process of grieving can be difficult to navigate, but you don’t have to do it on your own.
Today, take a moment to recognize the resources and support systems already present in your life that can help you on your journey with grief. And remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
If you need further support, please call us at 250-718-9291 or email us at [email protected].
We’re here to walk with you through your grief.
Just a friendly reminder 🫶

Is low self-esteem impacting your daily life? Let’s talk about how to turn it around.
Low self-esteem can manifest in different ways and may show up as:
💔 feeling unworthy of love & respect
😔 downplaying your strengths
🔍 focusing only on your perceived flaws
🗣️ negative self talk
🙈 social withdrawal
😰 imposter syndrome
It’s not just about being kind to yourself; it’s about recognizing your inherent worth & treating yourself with the same respect you would give to others.
Building self-esteem is a journey, not a quick fix. It requires daily habits that foster a deeper level of self-understanding & compassion. The more you practice seeing your value, the more you’ll start to believe in it.
We all want to uncover our self-worth, we’re here to help you build the self-esteem you need to thrive. Whether it’s through counseling or daily self-reflection, every step forward is a step toward a more confident you.
Looking to boost your self-esteem? 🌱 Click the link to fill out our BEST FIT FORM and connect with the ideal counselor who suits your needs.

The desire to grow keeps us moving, exploring, and healing.
Yet we also need time to simply be present, to be and experience ourselves as we are. Space is needed where we can pause our efforts to become something else, a space where we can fully rest.
It's often difficult to practice this when our schedules get busy or other stressors prevent deeper ways of connecting with life. What might 'being here now' look like for you today?
If you want to explore this more and how to work through the obstacles, reach out to book an appointment with one of our counsellors.

July 24th is National Self-Care Day, a theme we love here at OK Clinical. Self-care is defined as an action that preserves or enhances one's own health. Sustainable self-care soothes our minds and bodies while recognizing the constraints of any given moment. Engaging in self-care asserts that both you and your health matter. It can be as simple as a stroll in the sun on a workday, enjoying tea in a favourite chair, or a morning spent at a coffee shop. What matters most is that it fosters better health and remains accessible. Remember, you deserve this care, and these actions affirm your self-worth.
If you are looking for more balance, the counsellors here at Ok Clinical are here to help, please call 250-718-9291 or email us at [email protected]
