Water conservation is a year-round effort and reducing our irrigated water footprint in new and renovated parks is a priority for our Parks Planning team. 💧

Glenmore Recreation Park has been designed with an underground trench system to capture groundwater and funnel it toward rain gardens and tree roots. 🌧️🌳 This is just one example of how we are rethinking our approach to irrigation and helping make our green spaces more sustainable.
