FAST TRACK TO OFFICE TRAINING
In partnership with Westbank First Nation (WFN) and the Okanagan Training and Development Council (OTDC), Okanagan College is providing a tailored program to build the skills necessary for successful careers in office administration. The Fast Track to Office training includes an Okanagan College Certificate, as well as a work experience component.The training will be delivered at an accelerated rate – 24 hours/week over 10.5 weeks + three-week work experience, to get students out into a career immediately
Course dates:Nov 6, 2023 – Jan 30, 2024, Mon-Thurs, 9am – 4pm(Break for December Holiday)
Jan 31 – Feb 21 – Work Experience (20 hours a week)

WHO: Indigenous High School Graduates that have graduated between 2019 and 2023 - 18-22 years old
The OWL Program offers Indigenous High School Graduates an opportunity to experience campus life and university courses. The Fully Funded 6-week Program has been designed to ease the transition between high school and university; in addition to providing immersion and orientation to university life.
The objective of the OWL program is to provide Indigenous High School Graduates from rural and remote communities with an introduction to University.
As a result of the program, 92.31% of the participants plan to continue post-secondary education now or in the future.
