Who would have thought that sitting in a dandelion field would be so romantic ✨💛😘

will always be one of my favourite venues! Its full of a rich history & holds such a beautiful, rustic elegance. Also - fun fact: The original house that was built there was actually given to Elsie Perrin by her father as a wedding gift! Elsie actually tore the original house down after it was gifted to her & had it reconstructed with the house thats currently there today.

Another fact: Elsie and her husband, Hadley, are buried on the grounds!

I’ll never get over how beautiful Ally & her team made ✨🥂 Both the inside and outside areas were breathtaking!

I’ll also never stop recommending Ally for all of the amazing work she does for her couples. She’s so passionate about bringing your vision to life & making your wedding day so stress free 🤍

Heres an amazing, positive spin on cellphone photos during your ceremony.

Once Amy & Cole were together at the alter, their officiant made a special announcement that if guests wanted a photo of them at the alter, now is their time. Then the officiant stepped off to the side & Amy and Cole stood together, turned to their guests and let them have time to take some pictures. It was such a simple 1-2 minute part of their ceremony and it was so beautiful to see!

I definitely think about this ceremony a lot & this moment that this couple shared with their guests 💛 I’ve never been so happy to see so many phones out during a ceremony before, haha!

As 2023 wraps up, I’m sitting in my office editing & swooning over all of these galleries full of so much love.

I feel like 2023 was such a year of growth & happiness. My hubby and I were chatting the other night about how this year, for our marriage, it really feels like we grew together so well. With both of our busy work seasons being in the summer time, we really focused on communication and time together (even if we had to schedule it weeks in advance 😅) and we just really flourished this year as a team.

I really loved 2023 and this is also probably one of the calmest & clearest mindsets I’ve had in a really long time. I really think it helps with how goal focused I’ve been.

I can’t wait to see what 2024 brings! ✨🥂

One pose - 3 photos 💕 I absolutely love my job and the creativity that comes with it. I very much have an artist soul and I tend to overshoot & over deliver with galleries because instead of just one photo of each pose, I have to make multiple & unique photos out of one pose.

Art is so subjective. So what I love or feel about a photograph isn’t necessarily going to make everyone who views it think or feel the same way.

So my brain is just like “Give them all the photos. Its their love. Show them how beautiful it is!” And that create a giant gallery haha 😅

Its FINALLY wedding day for these two!! 🥂✨

Fun fact: Sara & Kyle met at the same bar that my husband and I met at! We all worked together at Robinson Hall / Thorny Devil (night clubs in London that are closed down now lol) So its SUPER exciting to see these two finally get married 💍

Wedding Day Details! 💍

I absolutely love photographing the details of your wedding day. There is a lot more that goes into planning the “small details” than most couples think. You want to try and stay as authentic to yourself individually, but also want to showcase yourselves as a couple - as well as match your wedding day aesthetic! It can be a lot - but trust me, when its all wrapped together, it really does complete the day!

If detail shots are something you want to have included in your wedding gallery / wedding video - I definitely definitely definitely recommend having a box ready for your photographer and videographer! It can be hard the day of to round everything up & find people that have specific things.

I thought I’d throw together a list of things you could use for your detail photos!

• engagement ring
• wedding bands
• vows / vow holders
• wedding invitation and save the date cards
• bouquets / florals
• jewellery (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, anklets, hair pieces, etc)
• bowties / ties
• ceremony shoes / reception shoes
• veil
• perfume
• cologne
• items that are the colour or aesthetic of your wedding day (candles, decor, accessories, flower petals, etc)
• ring boxes
• handkerchief
• memorial pieces

Every couple will always have different detail items - but they are definitely worth being included. Whether the photos are hung throughout youe home, or in your wedding albums to be passed down for generations to come, its so good to include them 💕

2 years! ✨

Hard to believe we’ve been husband & wife for two years today!
schwab and I got married on the first day of Ontarios “Roadmap to Reopen” plan.

“On Friday, June 11, 2021, at 12:01 a.m., the Ontario government will enter Step One of its Roadmap to Reopen, a few days ahead of its target date of Monday, June 14, 2021.

Step One of the Roadmap focuses on the resumption of more outdoor activities with smaller crowds where risk of transmission is lower. It will also permit more limited indoor settings to be open with restrictions.”

It was such a crazy time & we are both very lucky to have had the best vendors in the industry, the best parents, family & wedding party. 💛
