"I was a patient at Children’s Hospital at LHSC for a week in September of 2021. During this time, I was able to witness firsthand how significant of an impact Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario has on families. I have many friends and family members who have also been touched by RMHC, and we can all agree that the community involved with the charity goes above and beyond to make each family's life a little easier. With your contribution, I want to help ensure that they can continue to provide for families, the way that they have done for mine, for years to come!"
🥁DRUMROLL, PLEASE....

A message from Payton's dad...❤
"As a father, I never expected or realized what could happen to my daughter. The decisions my wife and I would face - there are no words to explain. When you haven’t slept for 48 hours and are living on adrenalin, to be just steps from the hospital, have a warm shower, and a bedroom where you can try to get some rest is life-changing. My daughter overcame the unimaginable, and we were there for her, together, thanks to our home-away-from-home: https://bit.ly/ATeenageGirlOvercomingtheUnimaginable
I’ve always known about RMHC but to actually live and breathe it - I don't know how to capture the impact of the facility and the people within. If you support RMHC, thank you. You will never know how much this impacted my life."
- Steve Campbell, Payton's Dad

Posted • .hystek In 2014, we began our parenting journey with a 6 week stay in the NICU after Savanna was diagnosed with gastroschisis at my 20 week ultrasound.
The was such an important part of this 6 weeks. We were able to stay just steps away from the hospital, we didn’t have to think about what our next dinner might be, and I still can’t have a ginger molasses cookie without comparing it to the delicious ones baked by the volunteers that I had with my coffee each morning.
Ten years later, Savanna raised $125 to donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charity. The employees at celebrated her donation and listened to her story.
We’ll forever be grateful for this charity the part it played in our story. ❤️
