Newborns and parents go through a lot of unnecessary trauma during a hospital stay. Modern medicine may have advanced technologies and equipment but the care that patients truly need is nowhere to be found. Most health care staff do only what they were taught to do and their intentions are generally good, but we need a paradigm shift in medicine.
