It’s our final week of One Small Step! It’s been a great conversation with your kids. We
closed with a conversation about how Philip shared the good news of Jesus in Ethiopia.
Here was the Big Idea: don’t skip this step — tell others about Jesus.

In Week 3 of our series One Small Step, we looked at how Stephen boldly shared a
message to the Sanhedrin. Here was the Big Idea: take a big step — the Holy Spirit makes us brave.

In Week 2 of our series One Small Step, we looked at how Peter and John were healing
and teaching people. Here was the Big Idea: Take another step — pray for others.

Week 1 of One Small Step is in the books! We talked about how Jesus went up to heaven after the resurrection. Here’s our Big Idea from this week: take the first step — believe in Jesus.

Our memory verse for May and June is from Psalm 19:1 - "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

It’s our final week of Glow in the Dark! We've had great discussions with your kids. We closed with a conversation about how God’s light overcame darkness. Here was the Big Idea: Jesus died and rose again.

In Week 4 of our series Glow in the Dark, we looked at how Jesus showed love to others even when he was on the cross. Here was the Big Idea: God hears our cries.

In Week 3 of our series Glow in the Dark, we looked at what happened when Jesus was brought before Pilate. Here was the Big Idea: We can choose Jesus.

In Week 2 of our series Glow in the Dark, we looked at the story of the last supper. Here was the Big Idea: Jesus is the light in the darkness.

Week 1 of Glow in the Dark is in the books! We talked about how Jesus shined when he cleared the Temple Courts. Our Big Idea was we can shine God’s light.

Today in GROW we enjoyed this wonderful book about growing to become all that God has planned for you. Thanks Max Lucado for the touching story and George Angelini for the beautiful illustrations.

We learned that Jesus turned over the tables of the money changers because they were not letting their lights shine for Jesus...so we made graham cracker pretzel flipped tables.
