When I started in real estate, I had every reason to fail. No family in the business, few connections, and my resources were limited
Instead of giving up, I decided to master my craft.

Many years and awards later, I found my passion was not just working in real estate, but also investing in it and educating others on how to do so as well.

One of the most fulfilling things to me sharing all of the real estate hacks, tips, and tricks I’ve learned over these past seven years with you.

I hope, in some small way, they will help you accomplish a few of your own goals too 🫶

This is a fresh start. It doesn’t matter what happened last week.

I feel it’s been some time so allow me to re-introduce myself.

I’m Christian - a real estate team leader, agent, investor, coach, and business owner.

Some of you may be wondering who I am and why you should listen to anything I have to say. Well, after a failed career in dentistry (just kidding, fun fact I always wanted to be a dentist growing up but quickly squashed this idea when I nearly failed grade 11 biology). I graduated from business school & worked in financial services for a year and half. After feeling our of place, I decided to get my real estate license after purchasing my first pre-construction property with much enthusiasm.

Fast forward a few short years (6 to be exact) and I’ve built a real estate team with over $100 million in transaction volume, while investing heavily into real estate myself. From long term rentals to STR & Airbnb, pre-construction to resale, condominium & freehold, at some point or another I’ve done it!

Now you might be thinking, all I do is real estate & I have no life outside of it. Well, I don’t think that could be further from the truth. I have a dog whom I love taking for walks, I’m passionate about health & fitness, cars & road trips, trying new foods & restaurants, and travelling as much as possible. My goals is to hit every continent! Oh, and I play the guitar.

Okay, enough sentimental stuff. I want to end this off by thanking everyone on my page for their support & by wishing you the best weekend ever (even though it’s supposed to cold and snowy, ugh. Don’t you wish you were on a beach now).

You don’t have to be great to start. But you do have to start to be great ✨

“Sold over asking” - a weak marketing statement.

For the past 6 months, every house sold over asking.

“Post it on MLS and let the bids roll in!”

It took absolutely 0 skill.

Safe to say I felt a bit apprehensive about making “sold over asking” posts recently.

They didn’t have any correlation to the ability of the realtor
However, all these ‘sold over asking’ signs have quickly been disappearing in recent weeks.

Especially in the $2mm+ price point 💰💰💰

A shifting market turning some of the power back toward the buyers….

6 homes currently sit for sale between $2-$3mm in this neighbourhood.

In the past month, only 2 have sold.

I’m saying this with as little “cringy-realtor” vibe as possible, but I’m happy to announce that not only are we are one of those two, we are

SOLD OVER ASKING 🙌

On the days leading up to New Years, I spent most of my time making a vision board. Who do I want to become in 2022 and how was I going to get there?

When I was ‘done’, I looked at it. It all seemed to come down to one thing. Becoming the best version of myself.

A New Year doesn’t mean you need to completely change into something you’re not. This is why I think a lot of resolutions fail.

Be kind, humble, patient, honest. Giving without expecting. Fall in love with the process, not the outcome.

Above all, BE AUTHENTIC. You are already awesome.
