As you become a more experienced athlete, its important to remember that proper form should always be on your mind. Its easy to let it slip as you become more comfortable with the movements. When a coach is demonstrating a movement, take some time to focus on the instruction and see where you might need to tighten up your form.

If you need the assistance of a band in order to do a pull up, do you find yourself always reaching for the same one? The reality is that as you continue to develop upper body strength via mastering other movements, your reliance on tools like bands should decrease over time. To help push along your progression, try using a band that is lighter than what you're used to using. β
