Cozy up to a warm, velvety treat that comforts any winter blues! This Chocolate Hazelnut Pot de Creme with Raspberry Coulis recipe promises to bring comfort to chilly moments. Try it below:
Prep: 10 min | Cook: 10 min | Bake: 30 min | Chill: 2 hr | Serves: 8
INGREDIENTS:
🍓 1 cup Longo’s Organic 3.8% Milk
🍓 1 cup 35% whipping cream
🍓 4oz (125g) semi-sweet chocolate baking chocolate, chopped
🍓 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
🍓 6 large Longo’s Enriched Coop Egg Yolks
🍓 1/4 cup granulated sugar
🍓 1/4 tsp salt
🍓 Sweetened whipped cream (optional)
🍓 Fresh raspberries (optional)
Raspberry Coulis:
🍓 1 pkg (300g) Longo’s Frozen Raspberries
🍓 1/3 cup granulated sugar
🍓 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
DIRECTIONS:
Raspberry Coulis: Combine raspberries, sugar and lemon juice in saucepan set over medium heat; simmer, stirring often, for 5 to 6 minutes or until raspberries have broken down. Strain raspberry sauce through a fine mesh strainer, pressing to push as much fruit pulp through as possible. Cool to room temperature then refrigerate coulis until ready to use.
Warm milk and cream together in saucepan set over medium heat until steaming. Remove from heat; add chocolate and hazelnut spread. Return to low heat and whisk for 3 to 4 minutes or until chocolate is fully melted.
Whisk egg yolks with sugar and salt in separate bowl. Whisk in a little of the hot milk mixture to temper; whisk back into remaining hot milk mixture until combined. Strain into large measuring cup. Let stand for 2 to 3 minutes (skim off any foam that forms on the surface before pouring).
Divide mixture among eight 1/4-pint jars or oven-proof espresso cups set in baking dish. Carefully set in oven and add enough hot tap water into baking dish to come halfway up the sides of the jars. Bake in preheated 300°F oven for 30 minutes or until edges are set but centres are still a bit wobbly.

🍰 Panettone Grilled Cheese: Cut a centre-cut slice of Longo’s Curato Il Panettone Classico in half lengthwise to create two equal sides. Spread one side of each piece with softened butter. Layer one unbuttered side with thin slices of camembert cheese. Top with a thin layer of deli ham or prosciutto (optional) and cap with remaining slice, buttered-side out. (Add even more flavour with some apricot fruit spread drizzled over the cheese layer.) Toast sandwich in a skillet until golden and cheese is melted.
🍰 Panettone French Toast: Slice Longo’s Curato Il Panettone Classico horizontally into rounds, about 3/4 inches thick. Whisk up a simple custard in a pie plate, using a ratio of 1 large egg and 1/4 cup milk per panettone slice. Add a splash of vanilla or a sprinkle of cinnamon for added flavour. Soak panettone slices on each side and pan-fry in butter for 3 to 4 minutes per side or until golden. Cut into wedges and serve with toppings such as fresh fruit, yogourt, maple syrup, fruit spread and/or powdered sugar.

INGREDIENTS:
🍲 1 Longo’s Certified Angus Striploin Steak, 3/4 inch thick (about 200g)
🍲 2 tsp Longo’s Japanese Style Stir-Fry Seasoning or Longo’s BBQ Rub
🍲 1 tbsp Longo’s Essentials 100% Pure Canola Oil
🍲 1 tbsp Longo’s Sesame Oil
🍲 1 bag (454g) frozen raw Longo’s Pacific White Large 31/40 Shrimp, thawed, peeled and deveined
🍲 2 cloves garlic, minced
🍲 1 container (946mL) Longo’s Essentials Beef Broth
🍲 1 pkg (450g) Shanghai bok choy, coarsely chopped
🍲 1 red bell pepper, chopped
🍲 2 pkgs (85g each) ramen noodles, seasoning packet discarded
🍲 2 tbsp soy sauce
🍲 Hot chili oil, sauce or pepper (for garnish)
DIRECTIONS:
Trim visible fat from steak and cut into bite-sized pieces. Toss with seasoning.
Heat canola and sesame oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown beef and remove to plate. Return skillet to medium-high heat and cook shrimp and garlic for 3 minutes or until shrimp is pink. Place on plate with beef.
Bring broth, bok choy and red pepper to a gentle boil in soup pot. Stir in ramen noodles, steak, shrimp and any accumulated juices with soy sauce. Heat through until noodles are tender. Ladle into bowls, garnish with chili oil, and enjoy with a fork and spoon.

INGREDIENTS:
🥩 2 Longo’s Certified Angus Beef Tenderloin or Strip Loin Medallions (about 1 1/2 inches thick)
🥩 2 tsp Longo’s Jerk Spice Blend
🥩 2 lobster tails (5 to 6oz each)
🥩 1 tbsp each Longo’s Essentials 100% Pure Canola Oil and Longo’s Country Churned Salted Butter
🥩 1 pkg (400g) Longo’s Vegetable Basmati Rice, heated
Jerk Butter:
🥩 1/3 cup Longo’s Country Churned Salted Butter
🥩 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
🥩 1 tsp chopped fresh Longo’s Organic Thyme
🥩 1/2 tsp Longo’s Jerk Spice Blend
DIRECTIONS:
Rub beef medallions all over with jerk seasoning; set aside.
Cut top of lobster tails down middle to tail and gently pull apart to expose lobster meat. Place, cut side up, on small foil-lined baking sheet.
Jerk Butter: Combine butter, parsley, thyme and spice rub in small saucepan set over low heat. Once butter is melted, stir to combine; keep warm.
Heat cast iron skillet over high heat until it begins to smoke lightly. Add oil and butter to skillet. Place medallions into skillet and sear for 3 minutes. Turn over and cook for about 3 minutes until medium-rare or desired doneness. Let stand for 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, set rack in oven about 6 inches from broiler. Turn on broiler to High. Spoon a little of the butter over lobster tails and place under broiler for about 5 minutes or until meat is firm and pink. Spoon more of the Jerk Butter over the lobster tails.
Place medallions onto plate along with rice. Place lobster tails on rice and spoon remaining butter over steak and lobster to serve.

Prep: 5 min | Serves: 8 to 10
INGREDIENTS:
🍓 1 pkg (600g) Longo’s Frozen Berry Blend, divided
🍓 3 tbsp granulated sugar
🍓 1 tsp lime zest
🍓 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
🍓 1 container (295mL) frozen limeade concentrate
🍓 1 bottle (1L) Longo’s Carbonated Spring Water
🍓 Fresh Longo’s Organic Mint (for garnish)
DIRECTIONS:
Measure 2 1/2 cups of the berries into a blender. Add sugar, lime zest and juice; pulse a few times to break up berries. Add limeade and 1 cup water; purée until smooth, scraping down sides once.
Pour into pitcher and add remaining berries. Gently pour carbonated water into pitcher and stir to combine. (Alternatively, pour into individual glasses and top with carbonated water.)
Pour over ice into glasses to serve; garnish with mint leaves.
Tequila Margarita: Stir 1/2 cup tequila into fruit purée, if desired.
Berry Ice Ring: Place remaining berries with a few mint leaves into a small Bundt pan instead of pitcher and cover with water. Freeze until solid. Place frozen berry ring into a punch bowl with mixed margarita to serve.

INGREDIENTS:
🍓 4 cups mixed fresh berries such as sliced strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries
🍓 1/2 cup granulated sugar
🍓 1/4 cup orange liqueur or fresh orange juice
🍓 2 1/2 cups 35% whipping cream
🍓 1/3 cup icing sugar
🍓 2 tsp vanilla extract
🍓 8 cups cubed Longo’s Curato Il Panettone Pistachio Cream
🍓 2 cans (400g each) ready to eat custard
🍓 3/4 cup chopped pistachios (optional)
🍓 Additional fresh berries (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Gently stir berries with sugar and liqueur; set aside for 15 minutes to macerate, stirring occasionally.
Whip cream with icing sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Arrange half of the panettone cubes in a 12-cup trifle or large, straight-sided glass bowl. Dollop 1 can of custard over cubes. Spoon over half of the berries, being sure to drizzle with any juices. Top with half of the whipped cream, spreading evenly to the edges of the bowl. Sprinkle with half of the pistachios, if using. Repeat layers once.
Garnish the top of the trifle with additional fresh berries and remaining half of the pistachios, if using.
Tip: Replace some of the berries with chopped, drained canned peaches or chopped fresh apricots.
