Free Community Fitness - Centretown, Ottawa
Free Community Fitness is a project to bring free movement based fitness classes to the local community. The idea is to bring people together through movement.
No equipment is required and anyone, regardless of age or fitness level can participate.
I'll be away this week so I won't be at the park as usual. That said, I'll be back at it starting 10 Oct. Have a great Thanksgiving :)
Why do I like movement based workouts? There are an infinite number of ways to move. Last week I learned new movements from a 70 year old ice dancer and a 20 year old skateboarder.
The second week of Free Community Fitness starts today. Come join your neighbours for an easy going movement based workout from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
Unfortunately, I will be travelling for work Tue, Wed and Thu and will not be able to workout on those days. But, I encourage you to keep up the habit and do a workout in the park together without me :)
