Come see us and our neighbours for Holiday Shopping Night in on Thursday, 5-8! We will have a table set up with clay where you can have fun learning how to make a pinch pot. We will also have an assortment of fired clay ornaments ready for painting by you — our expert techs will glaze and finish the pieces in time for holiday giving (cost $20-35 depending on the piece). Your family will be guided from beginning to finish in each workshop.

We provide all the clay and tools in a warm and welcoming light-filled space.

In this workshop, you will be taught the art of decorating and creating contrasting patterns and images.

This Saturday on September 30th Hintonburg Pottery will be hosting a free community awareness event in solidarity with Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, we remember, honour and acknowledge those children who died while attending a residential school in Canada.

💫We invite you to join us at the studio to take part in a guided moment to remember the lives lost:

> Create a pinch pot and place a candle inside each

> Write a message or a drawing to place inside a clay jug designed to hold our thoughts and prayers

> We invite you to inscribe the clay jug using your hands with wet clay from the earth

By connecting with the clay and creating a pinch pot, we embrace that we are all part of one planet, one body of people. While we create our pots we remember that this has not always been the way. We are here together to show support to one another.
