We're seeking friendly, outgoing, and positive individuals to join our team at Ottawa Mobile Bartenders! As a bartender or barback with us, you'll have the chance to work at exciting events, primarily weddings, and choose your own shifts (with a minimum commitment of 2 shifts per month). Pay $20/hr plus gratuities

*Requirements:*

- Updated Smart Serve Certificate (mandatory)
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to work long shifts (mostly weddings)
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
-Works well with others
-Minimum 5 years experience bartending (for bartender position)

Where to buy alcoholic beverages Use this map to find nearby stores where you can buy beer, wine, cider or spirits, including Ontario-made products, during the LCBO labour disruption.

LCBO has officially gone on strike as of 12:01 am this morning.

LCBO will be closed for 14 days for in store shopping.
After the 14-day strike, only 30 retail stores will open for in person shopping out of the thousands of stores across Ontario for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday ONLY. (Locations to be announced in the coming days).

You may still order online. When shopping online, the following product limits apply: Spirits: Two (2) units per product; Wine: 12 units per product; Beer, Cider and Ready-to-Drink: 12 units per product.

If you are providing alcohol for your event/wedding, reach out to your bar service or coordinators for more information.

If you have a Special Occasions Permit, you may still purchase from your local distilleries, breweries, and Beer Store, which are not affected. A great way to support local!

We went ahead and contacted all of our affected couples and clients prior to the strike to ensure they purchased all of their products beforehand 😊 One of the perks of hiring a bar service for your event!

That's a wrap on the 2023 wedding season! Over 70 weddings and events completed in the last 6 months. We haven't posted much this season because it was so busy and focused on events at hand.
We still have a few corporate and holiday events ahead of us, but all of our weddings are completed with success.
