Shooting investigation in Greenboro East: Seeking witnesses
The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating a shooting that occurred yesterday evening on the 300 block of Lorry Greenberg Drive.
At approximately 9:50 pm on August 29th, 2021, Frontline Officers responded to a call for shots fired. A 19 year old man was found injured nearby. He was treated and transported to the Hospital by Paramedics with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have information about this incident. They are also looking for anyone who may have been in the area and may have dashcam footage or security footage.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5050.

Collision on Baseline - police looking to identify drivers bit.ly/3cJwivg
Investigators of the Ottawa Police Collision Investigation Unit are looking to speak with any witnesses, especially the drivers and possible passengers of three vehicles at the intersection prior to the collision.
The three vehicles were stopped East bound on Baseline Road at the intersection of Navaho Drive on June 11, 2021 at approximately 11:25pm.
At this time, collision investigators have determined that the driver who struck the pedestrian was not at fault; and the driver may not be aware of the collision with a pedestrian. We urge the driver to come forward and speak with police.
The victim is still in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Collision Investigations Section at 613-236-1222 ext. 2481.

Les enquêteurs de l’Unité des enquêtes sur les collisions de la Police d’Ottawa souhaitent s’entretenir avec tout témoin, tout particulièrement avec les conducteurs et possibles passagers de trois véhicules qui se trouvaient à cette intersection avant la collision.
Ces trois véhicules étaient arrêtés sur le chemin Baseline, direction Est, à l’angle de la promenade Navaho, le vendredi 11 juin 2021 vers 23 h 25.
À l’heure actuelle, les enquêteurs-collision ont établi que le conducteur qui heurta le piéton n’était pas en faute, et il se peut que conducteur ne soit pas conscient de sa collision avec un piéton. Nous incitons le conducteur concerné à se manifester pour parler aux enquêteurs.
La victime repose toujours à l’hôpital, ayant subi des blessures mettant sa vie en péril.
Toute personne ayant des renseignements relatifs à cet incident est priée de communiquer avec l’Unité des enquêtes sur les collisions de la Police d’Ottawa en faisant le 613-236-1222, poste 2481.

On Sunday, April 4, between 1pm-2pm, a person was out running on the Prescott-Russell Recreational Trail near the Hammond area and was harassed and followed by five Caucasian males, between the ages of 16-20 years, on their bikes. One had shoulder length hair, three of them had ballcaps and there was a burgundy bike with white stripes and a navy blue one.
