✨Introducing the first three members of our incredible Cast & Creative Team on "The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine." ✨

Featuring the talents of:

Geoff McBride as Director
and starring
Drew Moore as Ernest
and
Maryse Fernandes as Ernestine

GCTC audiences will remember Geoff from "Good Night Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)" in 2013, "Lo (or Dear Mr. Wells)" in 2019, and "Daisy" in 2020 & 2021. Geoff also directed three of the GCTC’s Lawyer Plays.

Drew has been seen often on the GCTC stage: in 2022's "Forever Young: A Ghetto Story", as well as "Proud" in 2013, "This is War" in 2014, and "Generous" in 2015. You may also have seen him on the NAC stage in "Fall on Your Knees."

And Maryse will also be familiar to GCTC audiences - from last season's "The Supine Cobbler" as well as "Heartlines" in 2022. She's a member of Ottawa's award-winning physical theatre company, Aplombusrhombus, and has worked as an actor with A Company of Fools, Odyssey Theatre, NAC English Theatre, and more.

The Managing Director likes to joke about the days when he would sign up his son for summer camp the day before it started. And while it would be nice if we could all plan ahead, we know that is not the reality for so many people. Plans change, schedules are unpredictable. Sometimes you just need a last-minute solution.

And so, while Summer Stage registration was supposed to close Friday, we have decided to leave it open.

While some of our sessions are full, there are limited spaces left in the following sessions:

Explorers (Age 7-9)
Session 2: July 15 -19 (only 1 spot left!)
Session 4: July 29 - Aug 2
Session 5: Aug 6 - 9
Session 6: Aug 12 - 16 (only 2 spots left!)

Innovators (Age 10-12)
Session 3: July 22 - Aug 2
Session 4: Aug 6 -16

Creators (Age 13-15)
Session 2: July 22 - Aug 2
Session 3: Aug 6 - 16 (only 2 spots left!)

You can register online, or by phone or in-person with our box office, until the end of day on the Friday before your session starts. Within a few hours of registering, you will receive an email with a detailed registration form, to collect all the information we need about your child. This form must be completed and returned before the session begins.

For more information and to register, visit https://www.gctc.ca/summer-stage
