🚨 Important Update from CPhA 🚨
CPhA strongly opposes the newly announced $0.20/transaction fee for PrescribeIT, effective January 1, 2025. We have consistently opposed any funding model that places financial burden solely on pharmacies. We’ll be raising this issue directly with Infoway and the federal minister of health in the coming days, and will be surveying pharmacy owners shortly to help inform our advocacy strategy and next steps.
