It's a happy Friday, and a happy long-weekend to boot! This was a neat project as I don't typically turn my long canvasses upright for a painting. There's something else different about it vs. my other stuff as well-- +10 points to anyone who can figure it out. 🙂

A recent painting from a less-recent hiking trip. I find it can be really hard to replicate the colour "vibe" of my reference photos. So sometimes I just don't even try and let it have whatever colours I like best. :)
