We roast exceptional coffea arabica from renowned producers of the Americas, Africa & Indonesia, with the highest mean cupping scores among YXE cafes.
Museo's mission is to bring exceptional coffee and espresso drinks to Saskatoon. Since 2007, we've been notable for many firsts: the first La Marzocco GB5 espresso machine in Saskatchewan, the first pourover bar, the first coffeebar to use french press as its main brewing method. In January 2011, we officially opened our microroastery on Lauriston st. Our roastery will allow us to take our quality
Seasonal updates to Mk6 Espresso have arrived. Also: decaf. ☺️
Just a reminder that Museo is closed Sunday May 5th for Easter. See you Monday.
Just a heads up we’re closed 1 hour early on Tuesday April 16th at 3pm. Apologies!
A little decaf cortado… because cafffeine quotas are real.
Up and coming artists, a venue for new work:
Downtown Saskatoon is looking for artist submissions for this year’s expansion of ALLEY GALLERY.
ALLEY GALLERY is a series of art installations featured on metal doors throughout the Downtown District's back alleys. Started in 2021, 14 local artists have had their work on display between 3rd + 4th Ave S and 20th + 21st St E alleys. This year we will be filling doorways between 2nd and 3rd Ave S.
Whether you are an emerging artist or in grade school, we want to see your art submitted today, don’t delay!
Visit dtnyxe.ca to get your submission in, deadline is May 1st.
Recommended metrics for home espresso for March 31 2024 batch. Expect cocoa, semisweet chocolate, cooked raspberry and orange citrus mids, bakers spice and mild cane sugar on the finish.
Sumatra Arianto Natural is possibly the fastest selling coffee in our 17 years of business. People coming back to buy a second bag before finishing their first is something I’ve not seen before. 🥹
We love natural process coffees. They’re sweet, vibrant and complex. They’re also approachable, easy-drinking and smooth. The coffee cherry is picked ripe and dried whole on raised beds like those seen here in Lalessa Gedeb, Ethiopia. Washed process separates the seed from the cherry in water tanks, whereas naturals impart additional sweetness and flavour from the coffee cherry to the seed/bean. If you haven’t tried a quality natural coffee for filter/drip brewing, now is a great time to start.
The malls are closed. Costcos are closed. BUT MUSEO IS OPEN 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Apologies for the spotty hours this week - facility maintenance, year end reports and rehashing our operational projections for 2024. It’s a strange time for business. Thanks for everyone bearing with us as we navigate new challenges.
Hours for the NYE weekend: SAT-SUN 10-2; CLOSED NYD monday
Open 11am-3pm on December 24th.
Stocked with freshly roasted beans for the holidays.
If you’re buying coffee as a gift, we are a big believer in holding off until about Dec 10th-15th. This will put both espresso and single origin coffee in the optimal zone for freshness, but allowing adequate degassing. Most quality forward roasters will avoid doing any Black Friday promos for this reason, us included.
Just a heads up, the cafe is delayed in opening today. As soon as we get the go-ahead, we will post it here. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Finished our first roast of this exceptional single origin, single cultivar natural process. This lot has all the bombastic Gesha/Geisha cultivar notes you come to expect: juicy orange citrus notes up front, some tamarind mids, candylike sweetnesss and warming spice notes on the finish. The Black Diamond process is a Costa Rican variation of the natural process. The coffee cherry is meticulously tested for brix (measure of sweetness) before processing, and this extra effort shows in the cup quality. Another 90+ scoring coffee - we have several other lots available that are showing similarly solid cupping scores right now.
Open 11-2 on Monday August 7th
Our tasty single origin coffees and espresso ready to take home 🤩

A Julian, Caffè Julian if you want to be formal, is when you bring your own short ceramic cup but take your to go. Almost always a 6 ounce latte or capp in an 8 ounce cup. If you know, you know. Open 10-1:55 today
Kenya Gatomboya, fresh off our Fetco brewer today. Rich, heavy and fruit-forward, with lots of natural sweetness and semisweet chocolate notes interspersed throughout the cup. Likited time offering.
In a world of angry nostril BMWs, be this Chevy Nova with Cooper Cobras instead…
Next level deep dish butter tarts. Luscious caramel and brown butter notes, and that flakey handcrafted crust…
Museo will be closed early on Sunday April 2nd at 1pm. Our quality control manager is turning 7, sorry for any inconvenience caused!
Heads up - due to a mechanical issue the shop will be opening at 11:30 instead of 10 this Monday.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Test brewing our new Jairo Quiñones Quinayas, from Palestina, Huila, Colombia. This coffee was a finalist in the Colombia Best Cup competition. We also have a few new micro lots coming available this week.
Thank you Reg!
Open family day!
It’s kinda strange that we think of cold brew as a summer-only drink, because there is no better coffee if you need to smash the [bleep] out of the winter blues. In that vein, we made a batch of spiced cold brew on our tower and have it on special this weekend. We recommend this with a touch of honey and a generous amount of milk. 3.75 per 10oz pour. Happy weekend, everyone.
