We’ve expanded our modalities at CMW. I’m so excited to have acupuncture in the clinic now. It’s been a dream of mine for a few years now. I’ll be starting acupuncture school in the fall at Kwantlen University. Acupuncture can treat many ailments and decrease your stress levels!

Now that many people are working from home these days, it’s easy to forget to have good posture and to get caught up in the work at hand. It’s so easy to just sit at your desk all day and work and work and work and forget about yourself.
This is just a little reminder to take some time for yourself throughout the day, every hour or even every 30 mins, would be more beneficial, to just get up and stretch your body.
Here are a few simple stretches to do while you’re at your desk. Pick one or two and rotate through them throughout the day!
1. Roll your quads out, roll from the top corner from TFL to the top outer corner of the knee. Once warmed up, starting from the top again hold each spot a few secs to let it sink deeper.
2. Roll your shins, from the outside of the shin bone, roll up and down to warm up then hold each spot a few secs and breathe, moving from knee to ankle.
3. Chest stretch in the door frame, with your arms bent like a cactus along the frame, take one step forward and feel the chest stretch. Breathe through your ribs and back! Keep your lower ribs tucked in.
4. Neck stretches, hold below the collarbone with one or both hands and stretch all the lines of tension, front and both sides, look up and away. Hold and breath in each position.
With these short little bursts of glorious breathing and stretching you’ll have more energy and focus to get through your day!
Many of us are now working from home and are suffering from 😩back pain and all other sorts of bodily pains.
This post is just a quick reminder 👊🏽on how to help yourself. We will be posting more in-depth “how to” posts and videos in the days to come. For now, please 🙏consider setting a 🕰reminder to do these simple stretches and 💪🏽strengthening exercises, so that you may feel better throughout your busy working day!

I first learned about ⚡️PEMF technology when I had an injury to my wrist. A small fracture to my scaphoid bone; 2 days after I graduated RMT school. I cried! 😢 I thought I was doomed cuz I was so broke from being a 3 year student. Thankfully I could still work using my ulnar side (pinky side) of my right hand. My dominant hand.

• Singing, humming, breathing, talking: are all great ways to directly physicaly stimulate the vagus nerve.
The vagus nerve is my most favourite nerve. It has such a big role in every aspect of our lives, and evolved alongside with us.
