Did you know that sunglasses with UV protection are essential in all seasons?
UV radiation can damage proteins in the eye’s lens. Over time, this damage can raise a person’s risk for cataracts, which impair vision.
There’s evidence 
that UV damage may also raise a person’s risk for macular degeneration, one of the leading causes of age-related blindness. And sun exposure is also linked  to eye cancer and to a form of short-term, sunburn-like eye injury called photokeratitis (sometimes known as “welder’s burn”), which can cause temporary blindness or blotchy vision.

We’re looking for an outgoing customer service expert - friendly, prompt and organized. We’re a small team, providing Squamish with excellent Vision Care. Clinic Hours are Tuesday through Friday 9am-5pm & Saturday’s 10am-3pm. We’re looking to cover Tuesday through Friday shifts, with occasional Saturday shifts.

Job Scope:
Front Of House Duties; Patient Check Ins, Booking Appointments, Fielding Calls from New and Current Patients, Follow Ups/Reminders for Appointments, Eyewear Sales & Service, Merchandising.
Back Of House Duties; Pre-Testing Patients, Filing, Stock Management.

Posted • A call for Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw and Squamish-based artists was announced in February 2022 seeking submissions to the 2023 Street Banner Project, and requesting proposals of original designs influenced by the uniqueness of Squamish and the surrounding community.

✨ The submission by Squamish artist Ciarra Saylor was selected for the project with her Joyful Spirit Animal Banners series. ✨

The banners are slated for installation in the spring on existing light poles in commercial areas in Downtown Squamish, Garibaldi Estates and at Brennan Park Recreation Centre.
