Introducing our newest addition to the Restore team, Dr. Surjan Sandhu.

Dr. Sandhu has known the benefits of chiropractic care from a young age from his years as an athlete. Having played field hockey with the Canadian Jr National Team and Team BC, as well as ball hockey and soccer, he has an extensive knowledge with sports related injuries. Dr. Sandhu looks to help patients in an effort to live a healthier and more active life.

Having obtained a Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, he further pursued education at the University of Western States where he received his Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Sandhu uses an evidence based approach when it comes to patient care. This includes diversified chiropractic adjustments, active rehab, soft tissues therapies, experience with physical therapy modalities such as ultrasound, laser and cupping. Dr. Sandhu strives to provide lifestyle changes in order to ensure optimal recovery is met with his patients.

Dr. Sandhu is at Restore on Mondays 2pm-6pm, Tuesdays 9am-1pm and Saturdays 8am-2pm.

Adrienne is friendly, motivated and prioritizes patient-centered care to help patients improve their quality of life. Today is World Multiple Sclerosis (MS) day!

In doing our part to spread awareness for this condition, we'll give you a few facts about this disease.

-MS is an autoimmune disease. Autoimmune means the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own tissues.

-The exact cause of MS isn't fully understood, but it's believed to involve a combination of genetic, environmental, and immune system factors

- Some common symptoms include: fatigue, numbness/weakness in limbs, difficulty with coordination and balance, problems with vision, and sometimes cognitive issues.

-MS affects each person differently. For some, it may cause mild symptoms that come and go over time, while for others, it may lead to more severe and permanent disability

MS is an often misunderstood, and unfortunately often overlooked disease that we are happy to spread more light on! We hope you learned a little bit from us on this special day :)

We know that insurance can seem daunting, so we put together a post to make it as straightforward as possible!

ICBC’s no fault insurance allows you to get the treatment you deserve, with as little back-and-forth as possible!

If you’ve been in an accident, contact ICBC to process your claim. Within the first 12 weeks of your accident, ICBC will cover a set amount of appointments per practitioner. You don’t even have to visit your primary care provider first!
