CIBC Run for the Cure

We at Trifecta Rehab are planning a fundraiser 5km run/walk for the CIBC Run for the Cure Campaign. This event is virtual this year in light of COVID-19, so we are planning to organize a 5km course at Bear Creek Park.

Date = Sunday, October 3rd, 2021

Breast Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian women. Many of us have heard of or know friends/families who’ve been impacted by breast cancer. CIBC Run for the Cure gives us the opportunity to fundraise, raise awareness, and support the breast cancer cause.

We have set our team fundraising goal to be $1000 in total. For each individual participant, CIBC sets a minimum donation goal of $150.

How To Join: Go to the CIBC Run for the Cure Website and sign up for the race. Once completed please contact us via social media or email [email protected] to confirm your participation.

With the new mask mandates that take place tomorrow, we wanted to remind everyone to please bring and wear your mask to all appointments.

We understand things in life can come up, so disposable masks will be provided if you do not have one or forget yours.

We will continue to monitor the risk status of our community in conjunction with our governing colleges and health authorities.

                                                   

𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚: 𝑽𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

This past June, we had the pleasure of hosting our inaugural Therapy for Charity event. Members of our therapy team donated their time to provide treatment to our wonderful clients/donors, with all proceeds going towards a charity of our choice. With the help of our community coming together for this event, we were able to raise $2000!

Our goal was to raise money to support the They are a wonderful organization aiming to create a lasting positive impact on the Asian community with projects to support affordable housing, seniors housing, cultural understanding and economic development.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Chair - Carol Lee and Volunteer - Lisa So, who graciously guided us through the We were so excited to see how our donation would help with supporting initiatives to preserve and celebrate the living heritage of Vancouver’s Chinatown.

A big thank you to all of our therapists and amazing community that contributed to making this event possible! We couldn’t have done it without you!
