Square Circle delivers a new way of engaging, educating and empowering youth while strengthening the local community through the use of Social Circus.
We focus on youth 9 to 18 years old from underserved communities in Toronto. Our programs develop communication, interpersonal, artistic and physical skills in a safe, collaborative and fun environment.

Clarence Ford founded Square Circle in 2013, establishing one of Toronto’s first Social Circus programs. As a visionary artistic director, producer, and award-winning choreographer, his creative vision drives Square Circle to inspire growth from more youth in underserved communities.

Our Story
Square Circle’s mission is to deliver a new way of engaging, educating and empowering youth while strengthening the local community to foster more confident, resilient and courageous young leaders through the use of Social Circus and creative arts.
We teach Social Circus and other creative arts with the goal of empowering youth to become directors of their own lives. Using the tradition of Social Circus, we focus on youth (9 to 14 years old) living in Regent Park and the surrounding underserved communities. Our programs develop communication, interpersonal, artistic and physical skills in a safe, collaborative and fun environment.
