Q. How did Isaac support you in your paternity leave?
A. Isaac was amazing about giving me lots of flexibility to take the time off to be with my family and attend all of the key appointments even after returning to work. It is such an important time and I feel so thankful that Isaac supported me being able to focus on that 100%

Q. How did they welcome you back? How did you feel?
A. I was welcomed back with open arms! Everyone was so excited to hear about how everything was going and also very supportive about finding a work/life balance that worked for everyone, and checking in almost daily to make sure it still worked since things were changing so quickly at home.

That doesn’t sit well with us. We want Isaacs to be their best, most fulfilled selves, and that means supporting . Our Mental Wellness Employee Resource Group (ERG) helps employees balance self-care and professional drive.

The Mental Wellness ERG is an employee-led community focused on championing mental wellness. We encourage everyone to share their perspectives, promote mental wellness initiatives, and create a supportive environment. The ERG aims to make Isaac a place where people feel comfortable sharing challenges, advocating for mental wellness, and nurturing their own and others’ mental health.

Through the ERG, we aim to foster a stigma-free culture, build a supportive community, and improve mental wellness support using data and research. This will enhance overall wellbeing and job satisfaction at Isaac.

As we start, we will focus on launching the following initiatives:

1. Forums to discuss how we can improve as a business, deep-dive into specific challenges, and create a space for Isaacs to discuss personal stories and offer support.
2. Prioritize initiatives and create an action plan on the top 3-5 challenges addressed in the forums.
3. Partner with the leadership team to conduct research and guide decisions to improve Isaacs mental health benefits.
4. Establish communication channels to encourage participation through active or passive memberships.

A3 - My onboarding experience involved a four-week training program called Induction, where you work with peers to learn new concepts and apply skills in both classroom and on-site settings.

A4 - My colleagues and team members have provided exceptional support in my personal development journey, with guidance from my lead and encouragement from peers as we navigate our roles together.

A5 - Work-life balance is treated as a priority on Isaac's projects, for example on a project I worked on the team collectively adjusted work hours to ensure everyone had extra time in the evening.
