On November 30th, ECEs, child care workers, children and families, ECE students and faculty, operators, advocates and communities across the country are coming together for a National Day of Action in support of the early learning and child care workforce and calling immediate action on the ongoing early years and child care workforce crisis.

November 30th, 2023 will be a Canada-wide Day of Action for ELCC Across Canada, child care centres are closing rooms and limiting enrolment because they cannot retain staff in their programs. Passionate and skilled educators are leaving child care jobs because of low wages and poor working conditions.

Ontario extending $10/day child-care opt-in deadline to get more operators to apply The Canadian Press has obtained a letter sent today to municipalities informing them that the deadline is being extended from Sept. 1 to Nov. 1, to allow operators more time to make decisions and ensure more parents can see savings.

This webinar is designed for Early Childhood Educators who are seeking guidance and support in completing their CPL portfolio before their deadline, and includes updates to the CPL requirements that come into effect this month. By taking this webinar, participants will be given step by step examples to help complete 100% of their portfolio. This webinar is an excellent opportunity for ECEs to create effective, meaningful goals for your early learning community, professional practice and advocacy skills.
