On behalf of the Adolescent and Young Adult Program of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, we would like to invite you to AYA Remembers. At this service, your loved one will be remembered, along with other AYA patients, who have passed away. We understand that receiving this invitation may be difficult for you; so please do reach out if you have any questions or concerns. You are invited to bring any number of relatives and friends with you to this Service of Remembrance.

Please share this invitation with others who may want to support one another and appreciate the opportunity to attend. RSVP to this service by August 31st 2024 to [email protected].

Calling young adults (18-39 years) with cancer who are currently receiving treatment or completed treatment at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre!

We are conducting a research study to evaluate an educational video on how cancer and cancer treatment impacts sexual health.

If you choose to take part, you will watch the 12 minute video and be asked to complete a short survey before and after watching.

The goal of this study is to help determine how we can best support young adults with cancer learn about and manage their sexual health!

The Intro to Mindfulness Course is there to help you connect with yourself and build Mindfulness practice into your regular rhythms. With mindfulness practice we can access more clarity and self-compassion, and respond in ways that support our personal goals and values. 

The free online 8-week course is created for young adults who are looking for inner balance while riding the waves of life. This course includes weekly classes with practical instruction in the community, and resource packages for those who would like to dive deeper on their own time.

Building on the strengths of our shared experiences as a group, we learn that practicing together is easier than alone. It helps to have the encouragement of others to reaffirm our commitment to practice.

This foundational course is suitable for any level of mindfulness experience and is excellent for anyone, even longer-term practitioners, who wants to kick-start a daily practice. 

They begin February 16th.
