Don’t miss the Elmer Iseler Singers, conductor Lydia Adams and organist Shawn Grenke at the Roy Thomson Hall Noon Hour Concert Series this coming Tuesday, May 7th at 12:00 noon for a free hour-long concert.

The Singers will be presenting works by Holst, Ešenvalds, Eleanor Daley, Hussein Janmohamed, Herbert Howells and a set of Scottish songs by the beloved Robert Burns.

The EIS is thrilled to be singing in this gorgeous venue once again, and the choir looks forward to singing this brilliant music for you!

Our choirs at VIVA are full of choristers of all different cultural backgrounds, and our repertoire is no different! 🙌 As we prepare for our May 25th concert, Poetry in Motion, our Main Chorus is singing Rasa Nusantara, a Malay piece by our friend Dr. Tracy Wong 😍

At yesterday‘s rehearsal we welcomed Jean, one of our chorister’s parents and a native Malay speaker, to help us honor the text of this piece by learning more about the language and improving our articulation. Check out these videos to see what we learned! 🥰 Thank you Jean!!
