This summer, we’re funding camp programs for youth ages 12-15 to explore skilled trades like construction, manufacturing, and cooking. 🛠️👩‍🍳 In partnership with NSCC and industry leaders, these camps offer hands-on experience and career exploration. This is part of our plan to train more Nova Scotians to work in skilled trades.

Your morning construction report - our section of pleasant is closed at the moment - there is street parking on pleasant after the intersection.

Back at it again ! We have construction on the far side of Arthur near the workshop and mid way up pleasant.

Again, the construction is allll around us. Top of Pleasant blocked off and Arthur. Your best bet is to come down prince and up pleasant to avoid all the detours.

Just a heads up to patients today, Via Rail is doing some work at the tracks so parking may be limited or blocked. You may have to source street parking for your appointment

This year on June 2nd my cousin Becky and I will be participating in the Get Gutsy walk! With Crohns running in our family (ourselves included) we have decided to put in a team to help raise money for research and awareness about Crohns, Colitis, IBD. There is more info about the cause and their mission in the link below. I have never participated in something like this before so its very new territory in many ways but It is something that has really made me open my eyes and want to spread the word about trusting your gut and getting the answers you may be looking for. We still have a ways to go in means of understanding the illness and how to diagnose earlier but every cause has to start somewhere.
( any donation over 15$ you will recieve a receipt to claim on your taxes) Thanks for keeping us in mind and helping further support the cause 🫶🏼

We have been busy having fun but doing lots and lots of shoveling. Everyone has moved or cancelled for tomorrow so I will not be in the clinic. Buttttttt I have opened a couple more appointments this week as I’m sure a few of you are sore from the clean up / all the fun the snow has brought !
