Looks like sundays may settle down for the "winter". If anyone following my page would still like to come out on a sunday, PM me as I will still be keeping it open on my calendar.
Otherwise I will be looking to push forwards again in March.

Tested for 3 black belts this weekend, my lvl 1 and 2 international wushu sanshou dao black belt certificates, as well as my Sifus blackbelt. Just 15 years in the making. On to the next levels of training....more pics incoming....
No classes this weekend as im going to a gongfu retreat....
Sunday Kung Fu Basics at the GB Ballpark. 2PM.
Learning Xing Yi Chuan in the cooling weather. Dress weather appropriate. Long sleeve shirt and pants, and light water resistant shoes recommended. Light rain or wind jacket optional.
Class will be under cover should it be abit wet.

Next week sounds like it should be a go if anyone else wants to come train. Alternatively if there is anyone outside of my regular that wants to come down, let me know and i will be there 99% of the time.

There are soooo many variations of these exercises.
This is the version of the Five animal frolics of Hua Tuo that i have learned.

Hua Tuo was a renowned Chinese physician during the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220 AD). He is often celebrated for his pioneering contributions to medicine, including the development of surgical techniques and the use of anesthesia.
One of Hua Tuo’s most famous contributions is the creation of the Five Animal Frolics (Wu Qin Xi), a set of Qigong exercises designed to promote health and well-being. These exercises are inspired by the movements of five animals: the tiger, deer, bear, monkey, and crane. Each animal’s movements are believed to target different aspects of physical and mental health:
Tiger: Enhances strength and courage.
Deer: Improves flexibility and grace.
Bear: Builds strength and stability.
Monkey: Increases agility and playfulness.
Crane: Promotes balance and calmness.
The Five Animal Frolics are not just physical exercises but also incorporate deep breathing and mental focus, making them a holistic practice for maintaining health.
No Santi Shi, No Xing Yi.
Look how short my hair is. I made afew Xing Yi Basic Drills and some other variations of other kung fu exercises during Covid Lockdown. Making use of my teachers gym while it was closed. occasionally hosting space for a few homies to train as well.
I have a post in here with some further explanation on the Santi Shi (three body posture) pinned as well. (small note: the fingers on the bottom hand should point upwards, my hands have limited flexibility and that is my best even today).

As there is no one expected for thursdays qigong class atm, im going to cancel it. If there is any further interest i may be open to rehashing it for another day/time.
Thursdays were Qigong and stretching focused.
Sunday at 2PM is still on at the gillies bay ballpark for Xing Yi Chuan Kung Fu.
Welp, time for the morning stretch and practice. if you follow me and know any Xing Yi, Qi Permeating, Walking Qi Gong, Esoteric Seals, etc. daily practice should be your goal. Just like going to school or "hobby" classes, lessons from class should be applied to daily life...ideally.
