THE EGSA represents all graduate students in the SEED, SERS and GEM departments.

We are looking for PhD students/candidates within the Faculty of Environment to co-host a Plenary Panel Session in the morning for the EGSA Student Conference on September 20th.
We envision a plenary discussion as a session that is moderated and involves discussions happening in a sequence pertaining to a variety of topics that are interconnected. A space where ideas are shared, discussed and debated.
EGSA will be coming up with a bunch of topics pertaining to our department that would be presented to the speakers prior to the conference.
The elected plenary speakers will be compensated, the announcement for which would arrive shortly.
And good news SERS students, it counts towards your PhD seminar requirement! 🙌🏻

Here we go ! Our third edition of the annual EGSA Grad Student Conference is back and is set to happen on September 20th, 2024. Mark your calendars everyone ! 🗓️🔬📜
We call for the participation of graduate students through poster presentations, oral and plenary sessions. The conference in itself presents a relaxed, friendly academic setting and we welcome a wide variety of presentations. It could be your results fresh off the press, research plans, ideas, fieldwork plans and even the comps. Please register using the link in the bio or scan the QR code.
Also, the conference is FREE to attend. This is a chance to get to know the wide variety of research happening within our department.
We also seek volunteers to help us during the event and please do sign up with the link in the bio again.
