Attention: Musicians, Actors, Filmmakers... On May 13, 2024, The 48 Film Festival will host our 9th annual info session and mixer for filmmakers and the film industry. This event will be from 7:30pm to 10pm at Artspace.

ATTENTION MANITOBA: There has been a change, The 48 Registration will now open on Sunday, April 14th at 12pm (SHARP) via. our Google Meet Link. The 48 Film Festival, a not-for-profit arts support organization in Canada, relies on proceeds from its online Filmic Merch Store to sustain its programming, resources and exhibitions, fostering a sense of community and convergence of film artists and audiences Canada-wide.

Last weekend we came out to support the African Movie Festival in Manitoba 2023 at the Gas Station Theatre. Ben you did an amazing job. Congrats!!!

Get Your Teams Ready Manitoba!!! On Sunday, May 15, 2022 starting at 12 noon sharp and ending at 2pm. The 48 Film Festival Registration in Manitoba will begin. All Manitoba residents are welcome to enter. As always we will have TWO categories: (1) YOUTH CATEGORY… for individuals ages 14 to 25 and (2) ADULT CATEGORY… for individuals age 26 and up. Due to COVID, WE WILL NOT accept purchases in person. WE WILL NOT accept submissions over the phone. Registration is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, so if you do not arrive within the time allotted above and we fill up, then you will be put on a waiting list!!! Please be aware that registration will likely fill up fast, so come extra early!
