Typewriter Television
EVERYTHING UNFIT TO PRINT
Typewriter Television is a collaborative artistic organization dedicated to the creation, distribution and promotion of worthwhile works of art, as well as slapstick shtick, schlocky horror, and questionable philosophy.

OUR FIRST ARTIST SUBMISSION!!!
So excited to show you all this awesome piece sent to us from Milo Marsden!
Whether its the wild typewriter-television chimera, the funky background, or the gold accents, the detail in this work is spot on. It expresses an aesthetic that is both sui generis and comfortably at home at Typewriter! We didn't know before we saw it that this was exactly what we were asking for, but it is! Check out more of Milo's work at on Instagram!!
And don't forget to send your own submission - we are eagerly awaiting more great art!
Hey everybody!
We've been hard at work preparing for some projects we will be doing with a number of bands, including Enveiled, Hippo, and more Castagnes! Between that, and some original content we got cooking for an upcoming show put on by our friends at Back Alley Beers, we've been busy trying to really hone our craft, so that the next time we got something big to show ya we can deliver to you with Even Less Jank™. In the meantime, I've got some abstract doodles I made on photoshop for you to look at.
While these child-like digital artworks may appear at first to be an unproductive digression, it really speaks to the depth of our commitment to Even Less Jank™: by training my eye for colour - in the mercenary hell-scape of internet memeographics, no less - I am actively building the skills necessary to properly colour-grade Dart. Maybe by the time you see him appear on screen next, he won’t come out looking like a Christmas ham! If it takes a couple weeks of me finger painting to get there, then it’s a road I’m more than happy to travel.
If I’m trying to say anything, it’s that if you have some way of expressing yourself, and creating something unique in the process, take it. And if you don’t feel like you’re good at anything in particular, take a lesson from me - just start doing something. You don’t have to be the master overnight, if ever - just put yourself out there.
From everyone at Typewriter Television, we want to urge all of you to stay creative, and keep on expressing yourselves!! That's the kernel of our organizational commitment to Even Less Jank™.
- Cramer
P.S. If you want to hold us to our promise of Even Less Jank™ (i.e. de-hamming Dart), be sure to make it out to the live show hosted by Back Alley Beers on February 12th at Bulldog Event Centre, 1364 Main Street. Other performers will include Lost Planet Airmen and comedian Jesse Bercier. If you can't make it in person, make sure to stay tuned to Typewriter TV and subscribe to the Back Alley Beers podcast in order to take it in at home!!
Attention: ARTISTS!!
The Typewriter TV team has been excited to kick off our mission - spreading our message to the world! We really appreciate your early support. We’re new to the block, so we’re always looking for help – and here’s how you can get involved!
We need art! We’ve come a long way from when our boy Cramer took the original sketch into MS Paint and gave it its first coat of gloss. But now we need help – professional help. So if you’ve got a knack for the visual, or know someone who might be interested, please message us or submit your idea of what the next look for Typewriter TV might be by posting your art to Facebook or Instagram and tagging it . Feel free to do a funky paint job, edit the sketch, or submit your very own original work! All submissions are generously accepted!!
Make sure not to forget our dear friend Typeface, and his trademark gold tooth!
And if you fancy yourself more the art critic than the artist, please feel free comment below and let us know what you think of our logo so far – likes, dislikes, colour palettes you want used next, garbage bins you’d like to toss it into, etc.
We’ll be waiting!!
And make sure to tag your artist friends!
