Had a little bit of this Dooney and Burke based Disney dog fabric left. It was a cotton lycra so I used interfacing and some heat and bond to get it to behave more like a woven fabric. I also made little fabric loops for the ears this time because the elastics hurt the back of my ears after about 10 minutes.

I've still got enough leftover Disney Dogs to maybe squeeze out two more masks depending on the sizes.

Whew! Two days of as much straight sewing as one can do with two small kids underfoot but Bun's Sakura cosplay is done!

Two straight days of sewing and my first time using horsehair braid, but I am SO pleased with the results. Bun's Cardcaptor Sakura cosplay for @aikonwinnipeg . Fawn will be wearing Sakura's pink dress from the first season so Bun wanted to also be Sakura and she is a sucker for ruffles.
