2295 Royal Winnipeg Rifles Army Cadet Corps

The Army Cadet program is the premiere youth (12-18) leadership program in Canada.

We run outdoor and classroom training, consisting of parade square drill, marksmanship, bushcraft, instructional technique, leadership, navigation, and other skills. We are a free youth program for those aged 12-18 years old that builds the leaders of tomorrow. It is set in a military style environment that promotes discipline, teamwork, fun, and physical fitness. The cadet program offers optional activities such as military band, drill team, marksmanship, and biathlon.

Welcome to the 2023-2024 Training Year! We are having our Recruiting / Admin night tonight. Come down to Minto with a parent / guardian between 1830 - 2030 and we will complete your paperwork. Dress is civilian clothing. If you are in need of a uniform exchange, let us know what parts you need, and we will size you.

If you are joining us as a new cadet, please complete the Online Registration Tool at https://registration.cadets.gc.ca/get-started.html?unitId=884. You will need to bring proof of address and proof of ID for the applicant - typically for most people this is a birth certificate and health card. A status card, residency card, or passport will generally suffice instead of a birth certificate.

We hope to see you tonight so you can get started as early as next week, but we are always accepting new applicants every Wednesday night!
