In 2024, we have facilitated the release of 16 people who were held by non-state armed groups in the country.

Rights of people deprived of liberty do not end behind bars: their life and dignity must be respected.

This includes access to essential services, prevention of ill-treatment, and compliance with judicial guarantees, among others.
