Rocking chair by Verner Panton
The "Relaxer 2" floor rocking chair was designed in 1974 by the Danish designer Verner Panton for the German manufacturer Rosenthal - Einrichtung. The piece is an original from the 1970s production and features the original upholstery fabric designed by Verner Panton.

Restored and newly painted.

The Shakers are an American sect that settled on the east coast of the USA in 1774.
Purity and simplicity were considered the highest virtues.

Creation from oBBjekt in collaboration with Profi-Handwerker Trutmann: old cast iron frame from France combined with wonderful old wood, formerly laid out in the «Badi Utoquai», Zurich. Exposed to the weather for years, this wood has acquired a unique, wonderful patina.
