Thank you 2020! Even though at some point the world 🌎 seemed to go upside down and it felt like the most challenging time of my life I'm glad to finish this year even stronger and more confident! This phrase by from his 📖 Tribes I'm reading now made me reflect on the life choices I've been taking recently.
I guess there isn't really a moment in life when all is clear and you know exactly where you are going. We are always facing changes weather they are connected to the outside world that forces us to reinvent ourselves or the inside feeling that pushes us to go for another challenge.
I love yoga and one of my favorite things is to either do my own practice or teach my students what I've learned. However, I do realize more and more that I'm not the kind of person who enjoys teaching many classes cause otherwise it becomes for me just a way to earn money and my classes can become automatic with not much sense. I am going to continue teaching of course but I need to progress in other ways as well.
That is why I've recently followed digital marketing training with I'm so happy about. Would love to thank my amazing coaches .stralien & Loic Baesso for their time, great advise and real interest in my project. Nom I'm ready to launch my (for the moment this account is in mostly in 🇨🇵 but you will often find English description bin the second part of the 📄). So lucky to have spent all this crazy time in Costa Rica. The experience in this country truly showed me how to live Pura Vida style. Living the dream surfing every morning - in this beautiful place 😍. And what can be better than surfing in your favorite homebreak? Surfing with your best friend !!!
And now time for new adventures and new exciting projects! For the moment will just tell you that this is still gonna be connected with Costa Rica, surf, yoga and travel... Stay tuned!

Aerial yoga sequence for upper back and core
Aerial yoga is an amazing source of the way to get deeper in the poses in a more accessible ways. I love it for so many things but here is the strong flow that trains your core and prepares it for the handstands. Hammock being unstable it makes you work on your core in an even deeper level. Also it is fun to practice handstands this way. Still lacking some strength to pick up, but definitely seeing a lot of progress thanks to the aerial yoga. Have you ever tried it? And if yes what is it that you like most about aerial?

Or staying in, enjoying downtime, avoid certain bad situations which do happen when you adventure a lot, focus on yourself
I am usually all about looking for new experiences as this is a big part of what I call life. And even if certain unfortunate things can happen along the way, as my good friend says all happens for a reason. I do try to take those situations saying to myself that I learn and grow from them. For example this photo was taken during a really great trip to Santa Teresa which would have been wonderful but for the fact that I got robbed stopping for a coffee on the way back. I was really upset as it was my personal things that mattered a lot to me that got stolen. But I also learned to be more careful and who knows maybe it was the time to let go off old things and something new and exciting coming my way. I prefer to think about it this way. And what brings balance to your life?

My dear friends from all over the world! Some news for you: it's rainy season in Costa Rica, which means the nature is going to be so lush and there will be even more time for yoga! So right now I'm offering 2 Free yoga classes per week online through Zoom. I feel great to do it for the community as we do need to keep sanity by doing yoga and other activities as a lot of us have to stay home the majority of time. I'm not sure how much longer I could offer those classes as I start having other projects taking a lot of my time these days. So this is the moment to do it! Here is a little "how to" or my personal way to the nice and steady headstand. Take it step by step wherever you are at and remember it's about the process of getting it, having fun with it and not about the headstand itself!
In the photos in the carousel you can see each pose which gets you to headstand:
1. Interlace fingers behind your head, approach elbows towards each other and towards the ceiling, open the chest, stay for 5 breaths
2. Take this base on the ground and roll onto the edge of your elbows and back with your knees bent
3. Repeat with your straight legs: it will teach you the alignment you want to find for the headstand
4. Put your base on the ground, straighten the legs, and pick up your head from the floor, stay for 10 breaths: it will teach you to put the weight of your body on the forearms and not the head, making sure your neck feels good
5. Find your base with the head down and pick one of your legs with the knee bent towards the chest. Keep for 5 breaths and switch legs. It will make your core sting to hold the headstand.
6. Keep the balance with both your knees bent for at least 10 breaths before trying to straighten legs into the full headstand
7. When you feel that your core is strong enough you can pick up straight legs
8. Keeping your legs picked helps to work on the core
9. Enjoy your headstand for at least 20 breaths, you earned it!

During my trip to States I was lucky to visit Yosemite national park. I love hiking and opted for a challenging hike of 26km with almost 1km of elevation. It was tough at some point but completely worth it. Definitely I owe this physical condition to my practice of Ashtanga Yoga: it makes your legs really strong and allows you a great endurance. Using traditional ashtangi Ujjayi breath helped me to keep my breath even throughout the whole hike and helped a lot during the difficult steep parts. If you haven't experienced the benefits of Ashtanga yoga yet, I would advise you to try it out. And if you happen to be in Costa Rica you can find me teaching it on Saturdays at 8:30am in my favorite

Morning routine is very important for me - if I start my day as I really want to I’m going to be energized and productive for the rest of the day.
My morning routine is surfing - I wake up, drink water with some apple cider vinegar in it and go directly to the beach if I don’t have any other early morning engagements. And even if I do have a very busy day I prefer to wake up earlier and spend this time in the water as it what really makes me happy. I know not all of us are so lucky to live by the beach but it could be a simple routine of sun salutations, some other stretches to wake up your spine, or restorative poses still lying in your bed, your coffee ritual (for example grounding your coffee beans yourself- what a smell!) and a favorite tune to start the day on the right note.
Before my surf session I do some yoga asanas that prepare my shoulders for paddling, open up my hips and condition my body for a quicker pop up. In case you wanna learn more about it join me to my yoga for surf conditioning class in Nalu Nosara.

То, как вы проводите свое утро может создать тон всему вашему дню.
Моя утренняя привычка - это серф. Как только я встаю, я выпиваю стакан воды с яблочным уксусом и отправляюсь на пляж поймать несколько волн, дабы зарядиться энергией на день. И даже если у меня обещается очень загруженный день, я предпочитаю встать пораньше и посерфить хотя бы минут сорок, т.к. этот спорт действует на меня самым лучшим образом, своеобразная медитация в воде. Конечно, не все мы живем у пляжа, но каждый может создать свой утренний ритуал, который подходит именно вам. Может, это приветствия солнцу, или же позы йоги для расслабления, все еще лежа в постеле и используя подушки в качестве аксессуаров. Почему бы не сделать из варки кофе ритуал: самому молоть кофейные зёрна и варить кофе в турке по-турецки (что это за аромат!), а может начать день со своей любимой музыкой. Задумайтесь над тем, каким бы было ваше идеальное утро - все в ваших руках!
Я же до своего серфа делаю несколько йога поз, которые позволяют мне подготовить плечи для гребли, раскрыть бедра, и укрепить пресс, чтобы быстрее вставать на доске.
