🇩🇪: Der Mangel an Erzieherinnen und Erziehern in deutschen Kindergärten ist ein Problem für Eltern, Städte und Gemeinden. Insgesamt fehlen in Deutschland circa 125.000 Erzieherinnen und Erzieher. Um diesem Problem entgegenzutreten, hat Prof. Johannes O. Bockmann gemeinsam mit seinen Studierenden im Master Human Resources Management & Digital Transformation eine Projektarbeit durchgeführt. Die Studierenden haben im Auftrag der African-German Health Association e.V. und der Delegation der Deutschen Wirtschaft in Ghana (AHK) Möglichkeiten ermittelt, wie und unter welchen Bedingungen ghanaische Pflegekräfte auf dem deutschen Arbeitsmarkt integriert werden können.

🇺🇸: The shortage of nursery teachers in German nurseries is a problem for parents, cities and municipalities. There is a total shortage of around 125,000 nursery school teachers in Germany. To tackle this problem, Prof. Johannes O. Bockmann and his students on the Master's degree in Human Resources Management & Digital Transformation carried out a project. On behalf of the African-German Health Association e.V. and the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK), the students identified ways in which and under what conditions Ghanaian nurses can be integrated into the German labor market.

Masterstudierende Logistik am Campus Hamburg mussten darauf im Rahmen einer Projektarbeit für Fritz-Kola Antworten finden. Die Teilnehmer des Studienganges International Logistics & Supply Chain Management mussten dazu eine umfassende Analyse der Sicherheitsbestände in jeder Abfüllanlage durchführen. Es ging darum, eine effizientere Lagerpolitik für fritz-kola zu skizzieren,
wie Kursleiter Prof. Dr. Dagmar Tomanek vorgegeben hatte.

🇬🇧 What recommendations does a company need to optimise stock levels? Master's students of logistics at the Hamburg campus had to find answers to this question as part of a project for Fritz-Kola. The participants on the International Logistics & Supply Chain Management programme had to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the safety stock levels in each bottling plant. The aim was to outline a more efficient storage policy for fritz-kola, as specified by course leader Prof Dr Dagmar Tomanek.

🇩🇪 Das letzte Exkursionsziel in diesem Sommer durften Studierende der Immobilienwirtschaft am Campus München selbst bestimmen: Die Wahl fiel auf „Mallorca“. Mit gutem Grund, fand Professor Dr. Werner Pauen. Das zeigte sich auch am Programm. Der Studiengangsleiter für den Masterstudiengang Real Estate Management richtete die mehrtägige Reise an einer dreifachen Perspektive aus. Entsprechend variantenreich waren die Exkursionstage, die Gespräche mit Ansprechpartnern aus den verschiedenen Branchensegmenten und die fachliche Ausbeute für die Teilnehmer.

🇬🇧 The last excursion destination this summer was chosen by students of real estate management at the Munich campus: The choice fell on "Mallorca". With good reason, according to Professor Dr. Werner Pauen. This was also reflected in the program. The course director for the Real Estate Management Master's degree course based the trip, which lasted several days, on a threefold perspective. The excursion days, the discussions with contacts from the various industry segments and the professional yield for the participants were correspondingly varied.

🇩🇪 Wie profitiert die Wirtschaft von den Olympischen Spielen? Das fragte die ARD-Finanzredaktion den Sportökonomen und ISM-Professor Timo Zimmermann. Bislang sind erhoffte Effekte fast aller olympischen Veranstaltungen hinter den Erwartungen zurückgeblieben. In der Regel gehen Experten davon aus, dass Olympische Spiele drei bis fünf Milliarden kosten. Timo Zimmermann, Leiter des Masterstudiengangs Strategisches Sportmanagement an der School of Management (ISM), stellt fest: „Die tatsächlichen Kosten überschreiten diese Spanne oft massiv. In Paris liegen wir inzwischen fast doppelt so hoch“, sagt der Sportökonom, der am ISM Campus Dortmund lehrt.
