Oktoberfest time! 🍻 As every year, Technica has booked tables so we can all enjoy this together. 🎉 We’re ready for a day filled with food, drinks, and, most importantly, unforgettable moments as a team. What better way to celebrate than sharing it with everyone! Ozapf is at Technica!

We did it! On Sunday, 8th of September 2024, at 'Run4Life', the hot weather wasn't an obstacle but our motivation to run for a good cause. ☀️💧 From the Englischer Garten, we set off to complete the 10 km or nearly 6 km with great energy and good company. The welcoming was already in a good mood with the sponsor tents, and we warmed up together to get ready for the run.

The organizers thought of everything, including hydration stations to keep us refreshed before the hardest challenge. The audience cheered us up in every corner making it a really special event. And in the end, the organizers surprised us with delicious cakes 🍰, fruits and drinks for all of us.

Thank you to everyone who ran with us raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and supporting the Munich Aids Helpdesk. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️. Together, we make a difference! 💖

In the 10th year of the AEC, the Automotive Ethernet family meets again in Munich with an exciting program. As in the year before, MACsec and 10BASE-T1S are still very hot topics but also architecture discussions are omnipresent. 👩‍💼 My day kicks off with the holy grail of productivity fuel: a steaming hot cup of coffee 😄. Then, I'm well-prepared to tackle a wide range of tasks. As a manager of multiple products from the Technica portfolio, these products are in various stages of development. Some require problem-solving during their creation, while others rely on me for a successful launch. Additionally, for longstanding products, I take part in improving their functionality, thereby boosting sales. Throughout all my responsibilities, I diligently attend to the needs and visions of the company.

👤 Impressive! Lastly, what advice would you give to engineers who want to enter the world of ethernet in the automotive industry?

👩‍💼 For engineers looking to enter the world of Ethernet in the automotive industry, my advice would be to develop a strong foundation in both automotive engineering and networking technologies. Understanding the fundamentals of vehicle architecture and systems integration is crucial to comprehend the specific challenges and requirements of the automotive industry. Additionally, gaining expertise in networking protocols, such as Ethernet, CAN, and FlexRay, will provide a solid technical background for working with automotive Ethernet systems. It is also beneficial to stay updated with industry standards and the latest advancements in automotive technology. Finally, having a mindset for continuous learning and being open to adapting to new technologies. 😊✨
