We're excited to announce the opening of Africa Reframed's East African HQ in Nairobi!

In line with our mission to transform perceptions and foster sustainable growth, this new office is a testament to our dedication to cross-sector partnerships and transformative visual storytelling from the African continent.

Leading the helm of daily operations is Brenda Jommo, our newly appointed Community Engagement Manager. Brenda brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as Administrator and Project Manager at the Professional Photographers Association of Kenya, an influential body in the region's photography landscape.

The Africa Reframed Academy is the educational arm of Africa Reframed. It collaborates with emerging African visual storytellers via mentorships and workshops. In this engagement, the academy jointly develops methods for capturing and communicating Africa’s stories.

Through this partnership, the narratives of Africa are not only elevated but also given a genuine and profound resonance. Thus, contributing to the promotion of a more balanced global perception of Africa and propelling the next generation of storytellers.
