Let's keep planting together!
It's not just in the "external part" of a tree that diferentiates between species. This also happens in parts we don't normally see: the roots.
A robust, well-distributed root network is vital for efficiently capturing resources, allowing the seedling to grow and withstand drought and strong winds.
Our planting team in France are experts in planting hedges of trees around agricultural plots, which is crucial response to ecological and agricultural crises.
This planting method offers multiple benefits:
• Biodiversity: A reservoir of biodiversity, it offers a variety of micro-habitats, supporting the life of a multitude of living beings, from the ground to the canopy.
• Soil conservation: The rural hedge plays a crucial role in soil preservation by slowing water runoff, thus reducing erosion.
• Water management: By slowing runoff, it limits the transfer of pesticides, thus contributing to better water quality.
• Agriculture: By creating a beneficial microclimate, it promotes increased agricultural yields and improves animal welfare.
• Climate: Storing significantly carbon in the soil, roots and branches, rural hedges help combat periods of drought.
• Landscape: An integral part of rural and cultural heritage, it contributes to the diversity and beauty of French landscapes.
• Energy autonomy: A renewable energy source, the rural hedge contributes to the quest for energy autonomy
